I'm lucky, I guess. I love to look at motorcycles and spend a portion of everyday doing that but I only dream about owning two of them, the one that I own, the F650GS, and someday, a K100RT, preferably a white, ABS one.

I'm picking up a 2010 Versys tomorrow but it was a very close run thing with the Stelvio. I couldn't get a decent test ride on one and have always had a soft spot for the V so went for that. Great bike and I'm sure we'll be very happy together but that Stelvio pic has done me head in a bit.

The pic of the R1200R is even worse because that's what I'm trading in!!!

Are you getting that from Rossendale Kawasaki by any chance?

No Ray, Earnshaw's in Huddersfield. He's a good bloke at Rossendale Kawasaki but the first place I tried (for a Versys) was Earnshaws. Got a good part-ex and a few extras thrown in so didn't shop around too much. Just hope I get across the Pennines safely tomorrow.

Good luck with it, and post some impressions. I bought an 1150GS last August, but the other bikes on my shortlist were the Tiger 955 and the Versys.
