Hello,

Yesterday i finaly bought myself a Transalp. I ride motorcycles for 18 years now. And always wanted a Transalp. But for some reason i never bought one. My last motorcycle was a Suzuki GSX750F. Nice bike, but i couldn't ride it longer tthen 30 minutes. My body then starts to hurt. So i looked for an other (comfotabler) and so finaly i bought a 2006 XL650V Transalp.

Here's a picture of the bike during the testride.

Now i just have to wait a few days before i get the bike.

Double Trouble... that's the bikes of course, not me and my old buddy John. Stopped for a coffee break in Foix after a ride out in the Pyrenees.

Hi, Herrstedt, seems like we are riding the same bike.
I’ll upload some pic’s next week.
Correct me if I’m wrong; is that a touratech adapter to adjust the height and angle of your screen?
I’m looking for something to keep a bit of wind of my helmet while going down the highway.
Since I’m 1m85 my head gets the beating, is ok for a while but for the long rides it not so comfortable.
What are your experiences?
I thought about ordering a removable spoiler but I hear pro’s and con’s.
