I always liked the TransAlp and the Africa Twin, but the TransAlp they imported here to the U.S. back in the day was a bit under powered for me (6'8" and 325lbs), but I still think they were a neet looking bike. I wish Honda would have given the U.S. a chance with the Africa Twin and the Varadero. I think they would have sold very well here.

Whaaaatttt???? Too civilized... I knew you were hiding your eyes for a reason. So, I guess Transalps there are like Chevy Pickups here, there is one in every corner....

In Puerto Rico there are probably two Transalps, one is mine, the other I've been told it exist, but never seen it. So if they report a TA doing a bank assault I'm in deep sh*t.

AT? Only one and in bad shape....

Hi All,

Took the old Transalp out for an afternoon jolly , didn't even leave till 3 o'clock. Two hours of mostly dirt later and just timed it right for a few photos before sunset. Thought I'd share them; it's a beautiful spot above Foix in the Ariege, French Pyrenees at about 5,000ft ish.

Cheers

Thanks guys..

Hey, vdv2o20....I wished I did too, that's why I moved here from the UK...that trail starts just down the road from the house, if you head over the border to northern Spain it's even better.
Luxembourg's, not that far for a bikeing trip vdv2020

Hey Dan, I have travelled around that stunningly beautiful country of yours a bit, unfortunately not NSW though :-(....so all you lucky guys from Oz lets see more of your stuff
Cheers

Blast from the Past

Doing some spring cleaning (I'm always a little late I guess) and found this magazine in my filing cabinet.
