Hi CP, Thanks for sharing the old brochure stuff.
As we know, when released it sadly didn't sell too well stateside; a little strange/unusual maybe? Now in retrospect we know it for the superb all rounder "ADVenture motorcycle" that it is, a motorcycle always overshadowed by it's "big" brother the AFrica Twin. Still to be found traveling the roads & trails of the world and still being used for big trips & RTW stuff to this day, even preferred to more modern glitzy electronic machines. My old bikes just make me smile every time I ride them !!Here'a my 50th Anniversary bike, with the French Cathar Chateau of Montsegur in the background. Cheers Potski

Hi Dave
The bag make is BAGSTER cheap at the time and more than did the job... but i did have to tack up a frame out of 6mm steel to hold the right hand bag away from the exhaust !!!! i haven't got a clue with that sort of thing but had a go and did it in a couple of hours for about €15 .....if you look close you can just see it in the photo bottom left. Hope this helps Phil

Thanks Phil. I found their website and am wondering if there's a dealer in the US. They have a contact page, so I'll drop them a note.
Also, I noticed they sell a muffler shield for the bags. It attaches via clips/straps and can be positioned either on the bottom or on the back side of the bag (depending on the location of the muffler). Although, I think I'd prefer some sort of support framework (like you made).
