Where to get Arai lids?

For a decent price.

I know the company doesn't allow internet sales ( ) but am hoping one of y'all is aware of a way I can avoid paying full freight (or more!) to my local dealer(s).

I found an eBay seller offering new Quantum/f's for a good price. How much different is the current Quantum/II?

Are you coming to Bike Week? The Helmet Shop in Daytona (helmetshop.com) has good prices and they're good to work with. Alas, Arai prevents them from selling over the internet or over the phone.

I saw their site. No, I won't be making Bike Week. I need a new lid sooner than that anyway. Thanks, though.

I purchased a slightly used Signet from blueridgegs... he sent me his original receipt which was from www.powersportspro.com The new purchase price was $310 with what appears to be no shipping cost. I haven't shopped around on the internet, but I usually see this helmet selling for between $400 and $495 at the dealers...so looks like a competitive place to purchase a helmet...might give them a try

I got a good price on a Corbin seat for my old bike from them. I'll give 'em a call.

Yo Tim- there was a discount guy at VIR this year- same dood I met at the DC show last winter. They're from Pa and they discount Arai's (15%?) The thing I liked about them was that they really did the whole fit thing- and were good at figuring out which adjustments to make so that the lid fit just right. I'll try to scare up the guys' card. They've been at VIR both years- and I'm sure they'll be back at the Cycle World show if you can wait that long~

They changed the head shape that it fits somewhate. I tried the Quantum/f when I started looking at Arais and found that they didn't fit me particularly well. I later tried a Quantum/II, which fit me much better so I bought one. The point anyway is that Arai did change the fit between the models, so you will want to try the particular model you are considering.

You are the man, Jabba! Your advice is much better than Steve's. I have Thursday off, so maybe I can roll up there this week. I'll give 'em a call (that link doesn't work and google doesn't turn up a site either).
