Will Mr. Cob EVER ride his URAL again?

Mr. Cob's GS-based hack is DONE and ready to be picked up over at DMC.
It truly looks awesome

i'm just wondering....
what percentage of time do YOU think he'll spend on a URAL for the next year?

He bought this bike with his own money as a "fixer upper" that he can ride and learn to wrench on. Part of owning is he will buy parts and wrench on it himself. We are going through it together and having fun! I am very proud of the young man he is becoming.

I believe that Mr. Cob will continue to use his Ural mostly for off roading which he apparently does quite a bit of.

Mr Cob, and Vernon are on the Tipi Tour, I received a call from Vernon today with Mr Cob standing there wanting to know if his bike was done. They will be looking at the site tonight.

He could put "Ural" emblems on the tank and say it's the 2020 test model he's working on.

Howdy All,

I just got home after completing a 1,157 mile on-off road trip with the Ural, I stopped in and looked at the Beemer today and will be picking it up tomorrow for its maiden voyage. Rest assured that the Beemer will be used, well used but NOT abused, the Ural will remain my primary off road weapon, the Beemer will be relegated to civilized paved road touring, the only off road it will ever see is road construction or very well maintained gravel back road. The Beemer will like all of my other bikes be a tool to be used for the job at hand.

Mr.Cobb - Congrats on the rig. A few more pics when you have a chance would be nice.
What was the inspiration for the paint scheme?

Greg - I do not have an accurate estimation of how much he will ride and my reasons are as follows.
Honeymoon phase - Where you get something new and can't stand to not be riding it. (applies to girls too)
Dirt factor - Getting a new bike dirty...not a problem for some, but he has other rigs to serve that purpose.
Wife/GF/SO - So, how p-whipped is he? You will ride what they want to ride OR ELSE.

Howdy BeeMaa,

PLEASE don't misunderstand my comments on the hack paint, it is a beautiful paint job its just that "in my opinion" it doesn't mesh well with the factory paint pattern on the gas tank. The main color on the tank is white with blue strips, this is reversed on the hack. Jay assured me that he will make it right so I am NOT worried about it. I am leaving to pick it up in about a half hour, I'll post up my first riding impression late in the day.
