I'm leaving tuesday the 6th, and going all the way to vancouver. Care to join me? Ill be going up to porterville, spending the night, then riding up the 49 and 88 into tahoe.

That's alot of slab. And big wide fast slab with alot of cars too.

At least ride around the lake when you are up here.

I've just done 1200 miles in 1 week. At that we had to keep moving but did have some time to stop and see stuff along the way. Your going to do 1162 miles in less than 4 days. Are you just going on this trip to add up miles? It doesn't seem to me that you will be able to see anything except what just happens to flash by at 80mph. Suggestion....less miles, more stopping, see stuff. Chose between Tahoe area or PCH. Didn't you do this same ride before?

I did Yosemite last time, with the same route home, in the same timeframe. I should cut it short and just spend some time in bishop / mammoth lakes.

Both look like nice rides. When are you planning on going? I am riding up to Mammoth for the 4th of July weekend to do Mt. Whitney. Unfortunately, it looks like there may be too much snow to summit.
