Cleaning polypro tank

I have a white HPN (Acerbis) tank on my G/S. It's a year or two old and has scuff marks from my riding gear. How can I clean this off? The tank is the poly tank, unpainted. I have lots of chemicals in the house but don't feel like "melting" a hole in the thing ... thanks for any feedback.
