I'm planning to go to every bike show I can this winter to get through the ugly season. Last year I went to Indianapolis, which was an easy drive, good day trip. There are two big ones in Toronto (Dec and Jan), Chicago, Indy, smaller one in London. Anyone interested?

Thanks Patrol, coffee wasn't bad and scenery was pretty good. We'll have to do it again some time. Had a good time with the Detroit group. Sat on a 950SE.

So any oneelse have no hydro tonight? got the jump start box running the modem to keep tabs on the hydro guys, latest est. 04:00for a fix, oh wellbeer is still cold, no work tommorow and the fire is going so we,ll survive. Holding off firing up the genny til morning if we have to.

anywho, cheers,everyones went to bed im gonna have a few pops and what not and keep the fire going. Will surf till the power box dies.

I heard you guys are snowed in up there. Bluewater Bridge and 401 closed by "Epic snowfall". Can't remember the last time we had that much snow at home.

I'm inside the city and it's not bad here. A liitle windy but bright and clear, but I hear it's horrible a few miles east. All roads going east are closed and from reports about 300 people are stranded on the 402. There has been a state of emergency called by the county to get the military resources to get people off the highway. Not a great day for riding.

Ya, it was pretty hairy out here, zero vis., power out for a couple days, etc. Got out on the sled on Monday and had to follow the telephone poles to find the road it was so bad, so I stuck to the low areas. Rode to Forest on tues a couple times for supplies(beer & gas

) and every valley/creek bed was full of snow, one place on Lakeshore it was over 20 ft drifts blowing down into the valley from up top, cars/trucks everywhere. Pretty crazy for sure.

Alright, winter already blows goats. Too stave off the winter depression I feel building (too early this year) I'm proposing "The 2011 spring/summer/fall ADV dinner ride series". I don't really have any interest in meeting or spending time with any of you (except Junac - I find his 'I just got run over by a van' stories very entertaining) but I need something positive to cling to through the miserable grey Windsor winter.
Kindly commence brainstorming of venues. Lighthouse Cove? Grand Bend? Sarnia? Various waterfront locations between Detroit and Port Huron? Tons of places in Windsor. If this idea catches on I will start a thread for it. If not, see you when I get released.
