Agree!

I like the SE bars a lot. Hoping to find a set that is less expensive than buying new.

I have a set on the shelf. They retail or $300, so how about $200 shipped?

Thanks for what I have found they retail for $250 (ktm twins) on eBay for $180 and was PMd for less than $180 but I appreciate your reasonable offer :-). I'll have to pass.

Anyone put a Tach on their SE? The induction tachs use pickup on coil wire. .. But since coil is on plug, I didn't know if it will work?

Not me but I saw an SE around here with a Tach from the 950 (or early 990) Adventure mounted. The guy told me it was plug and play.

I just installed an HID kit and finally was able to get her out at night. Needless to say the light output is not what I was expecting. I thought I remembered reading somewhere in the OC that the SE reflector is a little wonky for use with an HID? Anybody help me out with this?

The Rigid 2X2's on the other hand..........are pretty F'n amazing.

Cheers Ken

Hi Ken,

How and where did you fix the Rigids on your SE? Have a picture?

If you can't find something on that side of the pond, I've got a Black Dog bracket lying about I'd be willing to part with for half price, plus shipping. The only problem will be that the Alsace is a long way from the central coast of California. PM me, if you want.

I'd also contact the guys at Raid Design in Sweden. They carry some of Kurt's stuff and they might have the bracket at hand.

Rear Indicators Playing Up

Afternoon Gents

Got a prob with the rear indicators, they work sometimes correctly and sometimes nothing, the front just blinks fast when the back ones don't work.

I have pulled and cleaned both bulbs and connections, checked the wires and unplugged and repluggued everything under the seat and still have this issue.

I am stumped now, anyone else had this issue and if so do you have a magic fix...bad earth or something?

Cheers Andi

$200 and $300 for bars, that's crazy talk.

Get some ProTaper CR HI for gods sake.

http://www.protaper.com/products/handlebars/evo

The Suzuki /KTM bend is pretty straight as well.

Ok, will pull em to bit again, I am suspicious it is further up the line cos both back ones play up.

Maybe with all the vibs the wires have parted, will check it out tomorrow.

Cheers man.
