Yep, washing the bike is soooo over rated. Tossed on some new crash bars today. Rumbux integrated crash bars and skid plate. Hell for stout! The skid plate is mounted to the crash bar, so no worries about the sump or engine mounts.

Said to be ~25 lbs. I just tossed a set on the shipping scale and it weighs 23 lbs, 15 ounces. That's with all the hardware, instructions and wrapped in a lot of packing foam.

I always thought it was to scoop the air through the radiator and protect it from stones thrown up by the front wheel.
