Otoh...
But then again... Lions are beasts, and they don't "lumber". Oh, and they prey on canaries, having them as an appetizer. ![]() Dallara ~

Multiple Teneres at the Maryland Ride To Eat. The bash plate on the blue one was made by Jaxxon at RideOnADV.com and it's massive when compared to my black bike with the SW-Motech.

Some pics of my bike with all luggage and most farkles finally in place.
Jesses bags are tight (35.5") and forward, Gobi topbox (capitalcycle.com) is mounted between them on rails to allow change of position by sliding front to back. In order to keep it low and still have clearance enough to open the Jesse lids, it needs to be turned sideways from the usual mounting position. This is a better solution than either mounting it high or hanging it off the rear rack. There is still enough room on the Altrider rear rack for a medium duffle. Up front, Barkbusters and Denalis from Twisted Throttle, Cee Baileys headlight protector. Crashbars and skidplate are Hepco & Becker. You might notice no space under the rear tyre - that's due to the Wasp Works 25mm raising links - I haven't welded on the centerstand extensions yet. A few more small things like that to do, but I think I'm mostly set! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Dang! I have MuffinTop Industries panniers for my blackie! And here I thought I'd be the first! How do you like the racks? Solid enough for you? Can you pull the racks with the bags still attached? Or do you need to remove the bags before you can remove the racks? I really don't need the removable racks (once they get mounted, they're staying there) but if it's a better alternative to the Happy Trails racks, I'm all for it! |
