Oh, don't worry, it's going to get lots of mud soon, I'm heading to Whitehorse, Yukon for the Tenere gathering and then Alaska

Check my countdown in my blog and a map of the riders attending with distances traveled

I'm in third, my name on the Super Tenere forum is "SuperTen", will be doing over 11K miles next month

Yes, the the little frame guards have to be removed to fit the touratech bars.
I think the bash plate has the same fixings, it looks to me that it is the same plate with the black upper things added, but i never compared with the regular yamaha bash plate.

Here is pic of my bike from the Sierra di Cadi in Spain:
Thanks

I had a GSA before the ST and could not get down so easy with her. The ST gives me much more confidence, especially thanks to the front suspension.
But when I was down my heart was beating at high rev’s!!!
And the BMW guys where quite upset

You must find it so boring waiting for the BMW's to get anywhere it looked painful to me watching them.

I picked min up on Saturday. Posted in the US Tenere thread, but see that one doesn't get much play...

Leaving the dealership NOGATT.

I got some gear on and took a 50 mile ride before the dealership locked their gates for the day. Had to get it loaded on the trailer for the drive home. Believe me. I would have rather ridden it home, but was in town with the wife and dogs and the wife won't drive with a trailer.

Can't wait to get the break-in miles done!
