Just wait until I have good internet access, right now it sucks, looks like I will have to wait until I get to Alaska

Had a wonderful ride today, got some really good video including a slight mistake that took me off the road, mind you, the road was dirt, gravel, wet and very slippery and one of the mud areas caught me but didn't crash, saved it

This was some of what we did today

Oh, forgot to mention, when I got back to the motel both forks were leaking
Yukon Yamaha is going to look into it on Thursday

Glad they work fine, your bike looks great with these wheels Roberto!

I am proud to say I have joint the Tenere club. This fine example had been sitting in the showroom at a local dealer since 7/27/2011.

Yup, zero miles on the clock as well.

This is going to be fun.

Hi Goldie ... I recommend putting some fork socks to prevent the fine dust from making your seals weep ... I even use one larger one on my rear Ohlins ... BTW I am still waiting for a set of Sealmates I ordered in April ... it seems they only ship within USA ... lol
Cheers,
Roberto

FYI...a piece of 35 mm film works well too. harder to find that stuff nowadays . the sprocket holes in the edge of the film grab dirt chunks....

Goldie and Roberto

Very stately looking crews you ride with, a wealth of experience, excellent photos.

("stately looking crews" code for "bunch of old guys")

("wealth of experience" code for "lots and lots of crashes")

("excellent photos" code for "you guys rock")

Adventure On

ps. Goldie its hard not to smile isn't it? Have a safe trip home

It should be fun. What was the dealer doing having that bike sitting around so long?

Waiting for the replacement speedo to put it back to zero miles.

Oh, and nice choice of color.

Crappy cell pics, but finally got the Tenere a bit dirty today. And 2-up at that! Loved it.

Definitely time to add some protection.

This is cruiser country. I probably see 90% cruisers, 7% supersports and 3% other most of which being old UJMs. I have seen maybe 3 adv bikes that weren't on a trip in town, and they were all BMWs. The dealer also has a white V-strom 650, a '11 model I think for at least a year. They just don't move in this town, which is great for me.

Thanks, I've put 80 miles on it today, and man, is it hard to take it easy on this thing. 1000 miles can't come fast enough so I can finally open it up.

I also couldn't take the temptation anymore, and took it on its first dirt road with 47 miles on the clock.

Hey there, Cykel...

Where is that bridge? I swear I've seen it, and been there, before (I live in South Texas). Just can't remember where I've seen it.

Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Dallara
