I once considered doing a change with a V-Strom's wheels. Napa carries some paint stripper that one guy used to get to the silver base under the black paint and then just clear coated it (I think). So it is doable if desired. The tires would need to be off and care with the spoke arrangment etc. Not sure I would go to the trouble, but it can be done inexpensively this way.

But if those longfolk keep eating, well they dwarf motorcycles, even a GSA looks small with my friend J-P on it...

Are you sure this is not the new F650 GS Twin?
Damn, I would swear!

Just talk to your dealer, there are lots of folk who like black wheels better (me for instance) so a swap could be easily arranged...

Yeah, but he is in the USA and the only S10's coming here will have black wheels, so there won't be anybody to trade with.

I think you'll find it's a GS with the biggest give-away beeing the rear rack.
Also has GS wheels. The only thing GSA about it is the tank mudguard and screen and engine bars.

Greg.

Now stop talking about me, sweet Jesus! It`s a GSA and I`ll prove it to you! (I have an extra set of alloy wheels to keep my spoked wheels nice`n tidy). And yeah, I know my name is not Tiny Tim but hey, wrestle me...

BTW, I LOVE the Tenere! I hope it`s a far better bike as opposed to my R1200GSA, the stuff I had to have replaced in the last 130K kms... (amongst many items 1x engine, 1x gearbox, 1x clutch because of leaking seals, 2 fuelpump thingies, 3 ignition lock cilinders (according to the Stealer I start the bike too often), shaft drive, rear brake disk and clamp (warranty)... well you name it I "enjoyed" it....)

I had an ST1100 before this one, trouble free for over 330K kms and I own an R1150GS, also trouble free. So I fail to see the logic in that remark, dude
