Well, Im still 40, but the rest applies.

Told my wife yesterday, I have been riding bikes for 20 plus years, everything from sport bikes, sport tourers, HDs, Wings, etc and in 2 days this has become my favorite bike of all time. Most fun I have ever had on two wheels.

It does tend to do that.

Have been spending some time over at the KTM forum reading about the upcoming KTM 1190. Man, those guys have drank the Kool-AId. I believe I saw one post talking about a $1,000 service visit for the upcoming KTM.

Is it just me or do they seem to have a lot of issues with their bikes. Fuel pumps, FI, servicing...etc

I'm pretty sure it's just you. Everyone knows they are the Honda of perfomance bikes.

Just like anything a little exotic or erotic, ya gotta pay to play. Seems like a lot
of owners are more than willing to put up with some ownership hassle to have

Hi from a neighbor of yours, Lou. I am in Hillsboro and bought the first Tenere from Niehaus, after waiting 11 months for it to come in. I still help out around the shop, so ask for me if you are down there. I just got back from a week of riding the great Ozark roads in AR and MO, a bit over 2000 miles last week. I am just short of 18,000 miles on mine and loving it more every day.

Hey Fred, yeah they said you were their resident Tenere expert. I am sure I will have plenty of questions. Mostly which mods have worked for you and which havent. lol
