Have you ever forgotten to turn TCS off? Those hills look loose and steep

I have when I only started. got a bit scary so I forget no more. I find that having it on the inbetween position works fine and keeps me out of trouble up hill or in the deep gravel of the river beds. so now if we are not in to very fast riding where I need too spray my buddies behind me with small stones and an over sized ego I use the 2 mode and not the off mode

IMHO This is actually one of the bikes failings.

I wish the mode would not revert to "1" when the ignition is turned off. I do however understand the logic in it not retaining the "Off" mode.

Either that, or a better placed TCS mode switch.

Nice. They both bolt onto the bike together without mods?

Nice shots, but they could be considered cruel and unusual punishment to those

These pics are a little rough on those of us who are looking into a garage that contains no Super Tenere.

New S-10 Dang Snow!

Got this Black Beauty mid December, put just over 600 on the clock before Christmas, then the ice, snow and freezing temps hit and she's been sittin' in the garage ever since.

There is a bright side though... it has given me time to get some farkles installed... the first day that the roads are clear of ice, she goes in for the 600 mile service... first 600 miles have been a revelation!! love it!

I have Happy Trails pannier racks and their Teton 9" boxes, they are stout, but make for a wide load...

National Cycle wind screen with Madstad brackets... I think she looks like the Alien Queen!?? but it's effective

I love to ski... and yesterday we had the best powder day in 4 years... but I'm anxious to ride this bike!!... come on Spring!!

Mine is a 2012... got it from Cycle City in Mountain Home for a very decent price... plus a five year extended warranty. Snake River Yamaha is only two miles from my house, but they didn't have any Tenere's in stock and weren't dealing like Cycle City...

The 2013's are nice, but I don't think they have them in black... the white ones sure are nice lookin!!

I was all set to pick up a used 2010, 1200GS for about the same money I paid for the S-10 new, and then I started researching the Tenere, I'm very happy with my choice...

Where are you located?? I'm sure there are several around, but I've personaly only seen one other S-10 in the Boise area...

several friends with BMW's are very interested in the S-10 and they quiz me about it often... I just smile and tell them it's very reliable...
