Yup, I was wondering where yesterday's posts were till seeing this from you.

Especially when a photo is taken through the windshield of a Super Tenere.

Well, if one Tenere doesn't work, here are 4:

Oh, PUH-Leeze! If you want lots and lots of Super Tenere pictures try here:

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=yamaha+super+tenere+images

Curious... Why did you edit your original post? And tell me, honestly, what better place is there for an interested forum member who owns a Super Tenere to ask questions about a potential camera purchase than in a thread where Super Tenere owners are posting pictures?

I honestlly felt like the moderator did the right thing with cleaning up the thread, but I didn't want it to be taken offensively and start a pissing match, so I simplified the post.

IMHO: Threads are topic based depending on the title. So if you click on "show us your Teneres" and while you're exctatically browsing through the thread you come across 3 pages of camera info, it's a buzz kill and makes you wonder where it ends and get's back on track. That's all really...

Well, then...

Let's see a picture of your Super Tenere, eh?

Otherwise, how are your last couple of posts any different than those others you consider "off-topic" and any less of a "buzz kill"?

I don't have an s10 yet, this is why I enjoy s10 porn, and while my posts might be a buzz kill, they are not off topic (I'm mostly praising beautiful s10s posted in the thread) and my posts also don't go on for pages and pages with no end in sight. I've absolutely nothing more to say on that topic nor have any desire to argue any further.

Nice link, btw.

I thought maybe she was a tranny. Poor gal just needed to get a break from
the guys for a minute. You do notice the guy in the cardigan lost interest
in the bike as soon as she showed up. Could be a potential Raven Rider.

Oh, and the guy that started it all.

Yeah. He doesn't own an S-10, and he's been a forum member for less than 90 days, but he's wants to dictate Super Tenere thread policy...

Funny, too, Pluric... You've probably posted as many Super Tenere pics in this thread as just about anybody, and you do keep things around here entertaining... And I've posted my share of pics here, too... Yet we get chastised for trying to answer a camera question from a great Super Tenere rider like Jaumev, having some discussions on bike color in photos and what it means, and for wondering...

why some folks wanna' post in a BIGGER font in FLAMING colors...

What's up with that?

And just so I don't get in trouble...

From the CVAR Vintage Races at TWS a couple of weekends ago...

Oh, so that's where you were. We were starting to wonder if your past had caught up
with you and the government hotel didn't have wifi. Here you are out playing with stupid
four wheel stuff. Well, glad you made bail.

Lighten up on MariusD. Guy just needs to get a fix while working on getting his own Tenere.
We owners tend to take for granted what we can walk by and touch everyday. We forget what
it's like to lust for something. I'll never have a shot at the Toxic Britney women, doesn't mean
I can't look and wish.

Funny thing, I talk about motorcycles on photography forums sometimes and even non-riders are interested in how the two blend together.

Anyway, a shot from last Saturdays ride.......

You guys wanna talk about cameras, start a thread in the Equipment forum.. an off topic post or two (or ten) about cameras...maybe... 3 pages about cameras is a total thread hijack... let's have at least 1 SuperTen thread stay on topic.. this one's not hard.. Show Us Your SuperTenere. ..

As far as I can tell, the Private Messaging system works well, so if you have a question, just use PM.. most of us don't really want to see a bunch of back and forth drivel cluttering the thread.

Here's gratuitous GoPro pic from my ride along the PCH 1 north of San Fran last summer.. 14°C in August!
