A friend bought a nem pair of PIAA led fog lights in Amazon.com, and a pair of light protectores, but the led lights already have protectors, so I bought him the extra pair. I think they cost 50 USD

They don't fit "like a glove" in the original fog lights... well, they do fit right, but I was afraid that with vibration they could fall, so I attached them with a flange.

Definitely makes the bike look gnarlier but they probably block a lot of light. I plan on adding 3M film to mine.

Of course they block, but not a lot.
This friend got one of his fog lights broken because of a rock launched by a motorcycle that was in front of him. And one fog light, just one, costs 300€! If you ask Yamaha, they will tell you that you must buy the pair (almost 400€, or one unit for 300€)

PIAA says that these fog lights are a special item only made for Yamaha, in Japan. You can't even find them in the PIAA website.

Just an FYI. You can buy Piaa LP530s, which are arguably better lights and OEM in the US, for just $191 a pair on Amazon. Cheap international shipping as well....
