What convinced you to swap your totally setup bike for essentially the same machine with a fancier dash? Did you get a chance to test ride the '14?

Btw, $4K is a huge premium to charge for the ZE, here in Japan it's $1,000 difference.

I don't know about the blue. Just picked mine up yesterday ... not a single girl yet!! You think it's the stock panniers?

A new S10 costs USD$18.000 plus tax (19%) ... almost double of a USA bike ... the new 2014 standard has improved on engine, dash, cruise control, gear indicator and some other things ... but tradition says that you have to renew your bike every three years ... your wife every seven (seven year itch) ... lol
Haven't had the chance to test ride the only one they have ready for DOT inspection ... beginning of march will begin the sales of the first available in blue and grey.
Cheers,
Roberto

The day it came home - just about 2 weeks ago, 0 miles.

Slightly over a week later, still has 0 miles but making some changes before the weather gets better. I'm getting the subframe, passenger peg brackets, top triple clamp and handlebars powder coated satin black and Plasti-Dip all the plastic rack parts to match. Then install the Mitas tires, Akrapovic slip on and I still need to decide on a skid plate/crash bars but not sure which one yet - after that we shall see what other changes are required.

M-tard is a bit more than a few custom bits. Mind you I was watching a road review and almost which I had tried one - can't believe the price of those things but always wanted a ST from years ago so no worries

Kidding

But It would be an interesting custom bike. Leave all the badges off and confuse the hell out of people

I got out for a bit east of Travis County. Some nice dirt road riding out in the country.

We had some white also.

It went with the soup. Anakee 3s aren't as bad as street tires in the mud, but they sure mudders, either.
