I also find that part of the bike unfinished, so the bezel is a good idea.
However, have you thought about painting the grill black? That way the bike looks a little like a scared ET from front

Errrr, you might be waiting pretty long if you're expecting the white color in the U.S. Too bad because I think they would sell like hot cakes! I could have had a white one if I wanted to wait, but the nice blue and silver one on the showroom floor was calling my name, and there wasn't much of the riding season left.

Might as well get the fastest ones before they are discontinued. Good move.

True,
So skip the blue.

Sorry, couldn't resist

Seriously, Jaumev, I do like the close-out and agree that black would look a little more "polished."
It would nicely cover an American radar detector. hmmmmm
The question is whether YOU like it though, as you have to ride it.

This morning I was with my colleagues preparing our next off road trip in Sardinia. Most of them with their GS and GSA… not for too long… they try the ST and they love it!
They hate me because I ruin their lives… this night they are going to have bad dreams about a white Yamaha overtake them all the time!!!
Asking them about the front grill they all agreed silver (like it is now) it looks more “aggressive” and less delicate to scratches… I don’t know, perhaps in some time I painting it in black... it could be nice …
thanks for your opinion!

About the colour of the bike, this kind of bike are easy to paint, and probably white is the easiest.
After a rough trip in Morocco my old GSA was full of bumps and scratches from all my crashes … some white paint and it was a new bike…

Before the trip

After the "reestyling!... i loved this bike...

You right the 990R is an incredible bike but I think KTM is going to launch a new one to the end of this year. Perhaps in two years when it finishes the guarantee of my ST and the new KTM showed its skills….
From now I’m enjoying a lot the Yam… better than I expected

btw - I wouldn't recommend trying this again. It is now one of the fastest ways I know to get to meet the police in DC. Glad he let me go.
