Just got back from a trip; Austin, Texas to Yellowstone. 2011 Ultra Limited.
![]() Damage from hitting a deer in the Texas Panhandle. After replacing the headlight, spotlight, blinker lens and repairing the cover for the lower fairing and tourpack I was able to finish my trip. ![]() ![]() Hit some snow going through Cheyenne, Wyoming. Thankfully it wasn't sticking to the ground. ![]() More snow up high at Yellowstone, but the roads were clear.

Not a HD rider and may never be one, but I finally rode one recently. A buddy bought one and after a quick tour, I must admit I get why HD riders like the bikes. They don't push you to be stupid and they coddle you.
Funny thing, how come no one complains about HD switch gear which is pretty much the same as BMW switch gear.

Back on my K1100LT there was a hazard button. The HD you push both signal buttons at the same time to get the flashers going like my newer K1200GT is set up now. Curiously, the K1300GT and the new K1600GT/GTL use a completely different setup now. I like the HD button; very intuitive.
