Nice bikes all!

Well, got the forward controls and laydown license plate holder done. Shop said they'd put footboards ON bikes but never taken 'em OFF a Softail before.

More leg room for my 35" inseam and a more natural foot position. Oh, and a bit more cornering clearance too.

I think it really "opens up" the look of the engine and bike as well. I'm happy. Mark H.

And whadya think of my new vanity plate?!?

I've been a long term lurker, finally made it all the way through this thread and figured it was time to join and start posting. This is the bike I learned to ride on when I was 15 and is now my main mode of transportation (also have a DL650 in the 'rents garage).

(sorry for the crappy cell picture)

What side cases and rack are you using? I'd love to have a setup like that.

The cases are Seahorse SE720' s. They are the same size as Pelican 1520's but are lighter.

The racks were made by me and a friend. We used a cutting board for the backing plate, some allthread with pvc spacers and a piece of aluminium.

I have been pleased with them, they have a lot of room, are water proof, and I can lock them up.

TN Sporty, Great job on the bags/cases, do you have any pictures for the mounts you made for that, or next time you have the bags could you take a few pics, would live to do that to my sportster.

98 Sporsters with 7200... Not a bad trade for $1800 and a .410 shotgun (worth $450) huh?

This must be a 1992 XL 883. Reminds me at the one I owned. But mine was a piece of crap. Loved it anyhow!

It's a '93. HD used the same decals for a while though. Only thing I've had to do is rebuild the carb and it was much easier than I anticipated. I'd like to change a few things on her but I'm still in school and funds are tight. Did you have a lot of problems out of yours?
