Oh, I sure had a lot of trouble. Started with day one. Came to pick up the brand new bike and it would not start. The mechanic had to fiddle with the harness to get it running. Had to wait 2 days to get my bike. I had taken vacation and of course was hot. Then I had 2 cracked rear fender. Than the engine was blown twice and a lot of little stuff. My ex brother in law had a 93 and his was allmost perfekt. Only thing was a brocken drive belt. But he had bad luck. The bike got stolen in front of our hotel at the Super Rally in the Czech Republic in 2003.
Hope you have mor luck with yours. My replacement for the Sporty was a 1999 Road King which was flawless.
But it got totaled by a blind and stupid kid takeing my right away. Now I own a 2011 Hot White Denim Street Glide.
I also have a Buell Ulysses which is a perfekt bike so far and it has the Sporty engine. Even if it's modified.
Take care and ride safe
Werner

I got it from a local rider who never put it on his bike but it is made by Arlen Ness. Here is the link http://shop.arlenness.com/p-4321-fai...3-up-fxxl.aspx.

The changes looked great. I've been on the lookout for an older high mileage / blown big twin that I can pick up for a decent price and rebuild. How much did you get out of it (if I may ask)?

This Year's Christmas Card

Over the past 11yrs I've made my own Christmas cards including a motorcycle and Comet.

Most year's I've used my red Ducati and worn some red leathers for a bit of a Santa theme.

This year I'm glad to share with you the photo I used as seen below. On the cards I gave to my motorcycle friends I included the words "Well whadya know... Santa FINALLY got an American Made Sled!"

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Warmest regards from way up near the North Pole, Santa Paws Comet and Mark H.
