My 1971

I can not find a picture of mine, but this was it.

This was AMF junk the back piston melted at 1100 miles and at 1900 miles the transmission seized up. I sold it and got a 1957 pan head 12" over chopper with drag bars and a jockey shifter. I can not find a picture of the bike.

I sold that after a year or so of looking cool and not putting many mile on.

I then got a 1973 FXE it had both a kicker and elec start.

In 1980 I sold that and got a 1980 low rider.

I rode that until 1986 and got a heritage red and cream. I still have the original seat if anybody is looking for one.
I do not have a picture of it.

Then I got a 1996 Road KIng this was a great bike.

My other Harleys

I sold the Road King to a friend of mine and he put another 60,000 miles on and only had to replace the base gasket at 51,000. A great bike.

Then I got 1999 dresser

I sold that and got a 2003 CVO dresser.

My other Harleys

I sold the 2003 CVO in 2010 to the same guy that bought my 1996 Road King, which I had to take in trade. Here are the pictures after he rode it for 2200 miles.

A 80 year old man pulled out in front of him. This was the third accident this guy had in 7 months. Time to get him off the road. My friend was wearing a tee shirt and got road rash but nothing broke. The ins company gave him $6000 more that he paid me for the bike. I did not even get lunch out of the deal.

More bikes

I then got a 2010 CVO. It was a great bike but it was top heavy for me. I started riding in 1963 on the road and at this point in life I needed a lighter bike.

This the one I want.

I sold the 2010 CVO and got a 2012 CVO Road GGlide. This is best handling harley I have ever owned. It is light and quick. At this point I think this will be the last ,this bike is a keeper. Picked it up and went to Daytona.

Oh the women like old harley riders.

This is my other two bikes.

This is when you get too old for two wheels

These were taken for a calendar shoot by a friend of mine Dino Petrocelli he does a lot of photos for OCC.How do you like the photos of the Ural?

The Ural photos are most excellent my man. I hope to someday be able to afford a Road Glide like that to ride out to see my brother in San Diego, listening to Megadeth all the way.

I've just started prepping for another 'big trip' and came across this thread. I can't believe that it's taken me this long to post a couple snaps of my bike. Hopefully you'll find these pictures as amusing as I do.
I recognized the name and the bike immediately... How's the shoulder? I take it you got the bike back together after shipping it back from S. America. I haven't checked in on your road report forever. I was very impressed by your report. I turned to my wife and said "This dude clanks when he walks, cause his cahones are brass at least, maybe steal" you and Doug are two that really impressed me.
