Thanks for the tip on Memphis Shades. I'll check them out.

#2 is at blue mesa resivoir near gunnison colorado. '98 Road King classic. I miss the King
#3 is at my house after a face lift. '07 Ultra. Dont miss the King
#4 shows that short windscreens may look cool but dont offer the bee protection tall screens do.
Nice bikes everyone. Soon I'll have a wee strom to flog around.

How do you like the Badlander? Comfy for long trips?

My main seat is a Mustang that is very comfortable but bulky. The Badlander is firmer but pretty decent. It works a little better for the shorter w/s as it is lower. I haven't taken a real long ride on it yet. I got it pretty cheap from surdyke.com...

Thumb

Just got her yesterday! I've been into Harley my whole life, and finally got one of my own. It's a 2004 XL1200C. Has the Screamin' Chicken Stage I kit and some different bars and grips. Otherwise she's all stock. I got about 65 miles in yesterday without ever going more than 20 miles from the house, haha. Got a ride around the lake and all over the place. It was raining cats and dogs when I got 'er, and had to trailer it home. Almost made me sick to see it on the trailer getting coated with roadspray from my van...That's why she's so dirty in the pic with me on it. Oh, and don't worry, I wear a ff helmet and a riding jacket when I ride. I was just posin' here. Enough talk, more pics.

My Harley

Not the most picturesque setting, but I still consider this one my rolling artwork

The main issue I have with Victory, or any bike (like most metric cruisers) that comes from the factory heavily stylized, is that it looks like one size fits all.

People have decried the "hardware-store" design of HDs, but that made true customs- well, custom.

That hammer has potential- but lose the ass end.

In 2000 and 2001 Victory made what I think is the nicest cruiser around, the V92SC. That is what I ride

hmmm...mids & a decent handlebar bend. I like it.

Too bad Victory doesn't sell that model anymore.
