That is the stock fairing on the FXDXT (Superglide T-Sport). The bike is mostly stock, but does have a few extras that were on it when I bought it. The original derby cover and timing covers are black, but had been changed to chrome. The original black heat shields have also been swapped for chrome ones and the mufflers are SEs. Also had highway pegs, sissy bar, floating brake rotors, oil cooler, and dipstick with temp readout added.

Nice looking - does it work well? A fairing or screen of some sort would have been nice this winter and this one suits my tastes (assuming I could find one and mount it to my XL).

Works pretty well at keeping the wind off my chest. Buffeting is very slight and proper adjustment of the windshield angle might eliminate it all. It's good enough that I've never even bothered with trying different adjustments, though I haven't done over 200mi in a day since I bought it back in December.

The best wind control setup I've ever had is my Uly with the Laminar Lip. The Uly setup gives perfectly clean air on my helmet with zero buffeting.


The T-Sport satisfies me pretty well though, as the guy gave me a Laminar Lip with it when I bought it, but I've never bothered to install it. That's partly because I don't have any real problem with it, and partly because the bike is too good looking to put that funky LL on it.

The only thing the T-Sport needs is some long stem mirrors (can't see anything but elbows and upper arms) and, if I decide to tour on it this year, a luggage rack . I'm kind of figuring on a longish trip of 3-5000 miles in May and I still haven't decided which one to take. They both have their strong points and it's tough to pick between them.

I want a rear whitewall tire, a few little black accents, and some custom paint on the tank... too bad they clearcoated over that Harley logo... it's just inconveniently placed...

Haven't had it too long, hopefully I get to go on some trips this summer and really put the miles on!

I just rode mine to Key West and back, it has PLENTY of dirt on it. I love the salt on roads right now too...
