Only 2700 miles on the clock, needs original headlight & horn and tank markings, as well as getting rid of the AMF badges on the gaurds to get her back to original.

Could those be the original tank markings mounted on the front fender?

Original headlight "Cycle-Ray", with Cycle-Ray and Made in USA stamped on rear of headlight bucket. Expect to pay BIG$$$$ for original although aftermarket available for around $130.00. Original horn face resembles a spoked wheel with hubcap (best description I can come up with). The horn cover in the photo is "Sunburst". Keep the current air cleaner as the oilbath cleaner is a bit restrictive. Happy riding and try not to smile too much as you are cruising down the street. Cheers

Don't know how they got on there, but they are not the original badges.

Got a new one

Over Memorial Day weekend, I bought this:

Every time I swing a leg over the seat I just get in the mood to raise some hell. It's a great bike. To me, a welcomed departure for HD, but I know it'll never last. I give them two, maybe three years of production.

Just bought the good wife a new 883 Custom in Cand Rootbeer two tone. This factoy custom colour is very rare in Australia and we were told this 883 is the only one (painted like this) in Australia. The wife walked past it at the dealers and fell in love with it.

Photos dont do the paint justice, it looks great in the sun,
Regards Bob

Magic!

I was going to post your link for you, but your first attempt disappeared before you could fix it. You gotta be quick around here.

Thanks Danii. Will this work?

The sundowner and mid controls really make this Sporty all day enjoyable. Next task is to find a better low tone horn.

I'm about a month and 1100 miles late on this one. ...
Early June I pulled the trigger on a XR1200.

XR1200 "birthday". This bike is a ton of fun!
