Well, I didn't what to be left out! So here is a picture of my Harley-Davidson/Buell XR1250R Street Tracker. I am currently mocking it up right now. The pictures are a little fuzzy because I'm using my wireless connection. The bike has a C&J Racing frame, Revolution Performance STD XR engine kit, SuperTrapp dual exhaust, dual Mikuni HSR45 carburetors, Red Shift .590" cams, Buell 'Roma' inverted forks, Marchesini 17" wheels, a Penske rear shock, Storz XR750 fuel tank by Race Tech, Storz XR750 tailsection, and many, many more parts.

Well I saw this thread and will chime in. Although I don't have a pic yet I just bought a 2003 Buell Lightning today if that counts. It was sitting at the honda dealership for a couple months as a trade. I low balled them for the hell of it today and am now the owner of a used Buell. Road it around a bit and love it compared to the old M2 cyclone I road before. Its an American exotic and will look good sitting next to the f650gs.

Nice to see this thread back. Diversity of the sport... good.
From the recent pics, an e-Glide would be on my short list of a long distance touring rig. And Daniii nice to see your VRSCA post and the trip through CO last summer. Rocky Mountain National Park in the image? And |

Wow,
Nice to see this thread started back up. I can't post any pics right now but I am the proud new owner of a 2004 FXDXi, vivid black. I got her late in the season and the snow and ice is keeping the mileage down right now. It is sucha great bike. I had super-serious reservations when I traded my DL650 for it, but as soon as I rode away from the dealership I never looked back. I had to trade my 640e on it too. THAT is a little harder to swallow. I waited a LONG tome to get that KTM and it will be a few years before I can two-bike it again. (OR so I say untill spring comes along) |
