You should get out more ... or are you nervous about your final drive ?.

Added Harley to Stable

Added a Harely FatBob to my stable.

Took it to Daytona Bike Week, rode it that is, and it performed excellently.
Have added a WIndvest windsheild (14") upgraded Sylvania lightbulbs and had a V&H longshots installed before leaving the stealer.

The Harley ride is a new thing for me and have to adjust my style but what doe do is allow you to go slow.... or maybe it allows me to go fast at a much lower speed than what I'm used to, not a bad thing.

That would be bad.
What if something like this happened?
That would be tragic if you didn't have a warranty.

(Hopefully) here is my boringly stock 2006 XL883 Sportster. I bought it used at the dealership I work at. Got it in Dec of 2008 with 3000 miles with a nice employee discount. Traded the Sundowner seat it had on it for the seat from a Custom model. The Sundowner was comfy, but looked all wrong on a Sportster (in my humble opinion). It's at almost 11,000 miles now, and I commute on it almost every day. I woned two other bikes that I rode so didn't put a lot of miles on the XL. One rocker box slight oil leak repair, and then just oil and filter changes, one primary chain slight adjustment, a set of plugs and an air cleaner. Still running the stock Dunlops, and I bet they go at least 20,000 miles.

I ride year round here in the Pacifin Northwest in the cold (down to 16 degrees) and rain (my God--the rain--will it ever stop??). It always stars well and gets me to work and back--and will put a smile on my face.

Here is a nice 2003 XL883C I'd like to pick up. I want a pre-2004 for the lighter weight solid mount engine and trap door trans. Just have to convince the wife that two Sportsters are better than one. The price isn't too bad on this one-probably because it no longer have the 100th anniversury medallions and paint job it had originally.
