The air tanks and fuel tank came out today.

Getting the fuel tank out was quite a job ,,,,that sumbitch is BIG.

Tomorrow the plan is to seperate the last of the body support structure from the rear end cap and remove it from the frame.

This will ease getting to the frame to move the rear axle back.

You going to cut the frame forward of the axle and 180 the rear section? splice it back on?

Say what?

The frame is staying intact,,,,the structure that supported the body is coming off and going back on to be the support for what is destined to be the bed area.

I could leave it in place but it's worth taking off to access the frame rails to move the axle back.

I do have a day job but I'm home by 4 pm and usually hot after it.

Got er down to the frame rails now,,,,,I do believe that's about it for the cutting. Now it's time to get on that rear axle.


That's about where the rear wheels are going to be when I'm done.
