I wasn't sure what I was going get until I tore into the body but I like the way It's put together. Much different than a School bus but the plan is coming together nicely.

It's not as bad as it looks in the pics,,,,it's mostly surface rust.

I'm gonna hit it with some of that POR 15 rust proof stuff. I've used it before and it works great,,,just wire brush the heavy rust off and slap that stuff on,,,case closed.

One cross beam on what is going to be the bed should be replaced however and a few patches here and there,,not bad for a twenty year old vehicle.

The cross member is moving,,,,i'm not sure exactly where yet.

I'll need one to support the carrier bearing and I'll probably add a cross member where the fuel tank used to be behind the axle's new location.
