Hannda, still riding although As of this instant I'm in the airport waiting to escape to warmer climes for a few days.

we had a spectacular fall and I was fortunate to get out quite a bit, I haven't even looked at any of the pics yet but will get around to it sometime after Christmas

Prometheus Riding, not that I play golf but those "green golf" photographs make me appreciate the wonderful riding season we were all able to enjoy. Stay warm & happy holidays to you!

Well as I sit here ticking the days off till spring I finally decided to stop procrastinating and post some pics from the Fall tours and what a fantastic fall it was..

Here's a few to start as I begin to sort through the memory cards. These were all within a few miles from my house.

Beautiful pics, prometheus. I miss the yearly trips up there.

I love going up to the Adirondacks in all four seasons. My grandmother lived her 94 years up there, and died peacefully at home in front of a window overlooking Little Saranac lake.

After the funeral on Memorial Day weekend in 2006, I walked outside from the house where she passed away and stepped on the boat house dock and took these pictures. Her spirit lives on.

Keep on posting the pics, they are greatly appreciated.

haystack - no gps coordinates it's on rte 86 between lake placid and wilmington you can't miss it , as a bonus that whole route is drop dead gorgeous google link below. zoom in and it is right past the hungry trout restaurant

A couple hundred feet up the road I stopped for lunch at ....

this is very close to T-road ;) my old stomping grounds! I went to school at plattsburgh state.

I love this ride thread and I recognized where almost every picture is taken!!! I was wondering if any one has done a Adks and beyond dirt thread ? I know that riding in the woods of the adk park is illegal but there are tons of seasonal roads and logging roads up there. I once took my subaru on some crazy roads around loon lake I had 4 kids in the car and we did about 10 miles of just barely big enough 4 wheeler trails that followed some powerlines then went off into the woods. we got to a point where the road kept shrinking and then finally the old scooby couldnt fit between two trees and we had to reverse about 1/2mile to a point where we could turn around hahahaha.

I also know there are alot of trails up and around lyon mtn. I just got an adv bike but I plan on doing at least one trip up to lyon mtn.

Just north of Tupperlake there are plenty of dirt seasonal roads. I will be exploring this summer!
