Ordered all the maps plus the Washington dual sport map about two weeks ago and am waiting for them to arrive.
Canada postal strike did not help the delivery times...

Funny thing, I was racing to a good store here in San Antonio (Moto Liberty), with the only goal of getting my prefered oil for my ST3. Now I'm sure I could have gotten it elsewhere, but I knew they stayed open reasonably late, and several of the guys ride Ducatis, so every time I get there I learn some new tidbit.
Anyways, I was about to check out, and I saw they had maps of the areas around both DFW and Houston, so I ask if they have anything for the area around San Antonio. He mentions they have a map called "Butler", and I immediately light up, because I remember the thread where people from Butler were asking for input on the roads in the hill country. Needless to say I bought one, and am a happy camper in all respects, except for one. I CAN'T USE IT!! (Well, this weekend. There is a little issue with me doing a major service on my ST3 today, and trying to get one of my other bikes working tomorrow. It's more a problem with me than with the map, in any case. )That, and I'm going to have to get over my hesitation to "improperly fold" any new map/atlas.

I'm a map junkie. I saw that Walt Healy had a few of them when I was in shopping and bought the maps for Idaho and Montana. We then headed out on a road trip, headed initially for BC but ended up zigging at Missoula instead of zagging and ended up going down to Boise. We used these maps throughout and rewarded by being able to pick the cherries and enjoy a wonderful trip.
It is also my habit to visit, and I chat up lots of riders and drop into local dealers to get the scoop on good riding in the area. There roads marked on the maps were all endorsed by those that knew them, and some roads were not known even to the locals. Many people expressed interest in obtaining the maps. It's a great product. Now, all we need is the Canadian Rockies, Washington and Oregon to complete the coverage of the area I ride... I know they will come, but inquiring minds are IMPATIENT!! LOL! Scott Fraser Calgary

Just go the package of maps...
... in the mail, they are very nice. Printed on a sort of vinyl-type stuff that won't tear or fall apart when wet. Haven't had time to study them, but they're very well made and seem as detailed (or more) than any map I've seen, THEN you add in the highlighted motorcycle-nirvana roads and you'd got double-plus goodness right there, and all a nice vinyl storage bag too.

I have a coworker who bought a bike a few weeks ago, but hasn't gotten around to taking it out for practice. (I keep offering my services as a tutor.) I took the map of the Hill Country in to try to entice him to practice so I can show him the awesome roads we could be ripping up.
