So who's up for some lower budget guided touring of Colorado this summer???

I'll be in the Denver area working with a friend and offering up my road knowledge base and touring services for those interested. I'm talking about DS/ADV/all-paved tour guiding starting in Denver from 1 to several+ days.

I can put together what ever combo of roads you or your group wants and we can go where ya want. Of course, i can provide all the destination work too if you just provide what type of roads you're comfortable on. We'd be completely flexible and re-route anytime need be.

I'm talking camping @ night (free in the forest or paid/nicer) or worse case in nasty weather, cheap hotels. If you want to hotel we can do that too, it would just cost some more. We'd discuss were we eat/ride/sleep and each pay our own way...I'm just here to provide the directions, knowledge of roads/towns/places to eat & stay for a daily fee.

I can help with repairs or flat tires, but i'm not here to completely hold your hand nor would i be charging hold-your-hand prices. There are rentals available if you need a bike http://www.houseofmotorrad.com/ http://www.wdsma.com/ http://www.motorcyclecolorado.com/mo...le_rentals.htm Liability is on you and you alone...you're just following me. At night we B.S. and remember the days ride. I'll watch out for everyone and make sure it's the best ride of your summer!

Anyone?
PM if interested as this is my Butler Maps only thread. I'll be back in Colorado for the spring & summer and maybe fall. I've got other things planned to let me know and i'll schedule it.

Thanks, Bill

we have added dual sport/dirt routes (easier primary ones rideable by large ADV bikes) to our UT, CO & So Cal. V2 maps. our next new map Nor. Cal. with have these too as will ID, MT & WY V2 maps when they come out.

each V2 map has 80+ dirt routes that connect with our rated paved roads to create awesome DS/ADV style rides and tours.

we have plans to create more detailed state DS maps which focus on many levels of dirt roads but these are a way off at this point.

thanks for asking. bill

So a question about the 2nd edition Utah/Colorado maps. How many large adv bike routes are included? Do they pretty much hit all the good ones? Joe

40+ recommended routes, plus another 40 solid ones.
i did a good bit of the work on the UT additions and most all of the CO and i'd say yes we went for all the good ones. of course some are not there and you should also get Steve's book too to augment/expand. He covers some i missed. the CO v2 also has hot springs and parks list as well as a mobil tour guide. both of these maps were a significant redo for us.
