Thumb Great Maps!

Just received my map, they are indeed very nice. I have been touring in Colorado as often as I get a chance, (probably 6 weeks in the last ten years), and all of the best roads I have found are highlighted. But the better news is that there are still many more highlighted and rated which I have not found yet, and look forward to riding. The map paper quality is also very good, looks like it should last, unlike the multitude of "old style" maps I have used over the years. Appears even higher quality then the off-road "TI" maps. Great quality map, as promised in the first post in this thread. Thanks, look forward to more states!

Pretty much full on the way over and empty as of today on the way back.
Will and can deviate coming back depending on loads and locations.

Thumb neat!

....Wow...nice mappage! I didn't know these existed.
Excellent website as well. Is there a page that shows actual map detail?
I'm curious how well these can be used for dualsport riding, trails, forestry, et al...

ricky,
thanks! these maps are currently focused on paved roads and specificly to point out the best ones. we have a dual sport map planned, starting with colorado, but that will not happen till next summer. we are about to release our so cal. map and then continue to work on nor cal. this fall.

detail here:
http://butlermaps.com/Motorcycle-Road-Maps/1/Colorado
this is a shot of our G1 (the best of the best) detail box.
each G1 road on the main map has a coresponding larger detail map.

our southern california map is available for ordering now.
we have an oct. 20th ship date.
this map has an incredible amount of detail & required a ALOT more work.

we have a new category of paved road called:
paved mountain trail.
it's a goat trail kinda of road that california loves to pave.
think twisty, tight & narrow. the kinda of road where smaller bikes excell.

start planning your winter vacation now.

yep seems like a way cool route.

with the TAT http://www.transamtrail.com/ , CDR http://www.bigdogadventures.com/CD.htm http://www.adventurecycling.org/routes/greatdivide.cfm and now this, western long-distance off-road routes just keep getting better.

i remember reading about a west coast mountain CDR kinda ride from mx through ca, or & wa.

Question

I see that you're coming out with a SoCal map in October.
How far north will it go? Will there be an entire or NorCal coming soon?
