Plus, I was kind of curious to see the numbers translated myself. 463 lbs and almost 8" of front wheel travel. Hmm.

F 800 GS is 455 lbs fuled with 9" of front wheel travel according to BMW's site.

Interesting.

Of course, nobody actually knows anything.
I just saw an add for an F800GS with 7 miles on it. It's a 2009, so I'm guessing that's 7 miles ride from the dealer. Dreamers eh?

As much as I love my KTM 990 Adv that just might be my next bike in a year or so, I don't want anything bigger and heavier (Read BMW 1200 GS, Yamaha Super T) and I don't want to give into the good but souless 800 GS. A light nimble triple based bike might be just what the doctor ordered.... It will be test ridden... extensively

I bet Triumph will sell every bike they know how to make, well done Triumph!

Bet KTM is regretting not making a lighter smaller twin cylinder adv bike now.... and Yamaha might be realizing their mistake when they made the Super T a 260 kg heffaklump.... and Honda just purely effed up the transalp. This one is open for the taking... Triumph will see some very nice black figures I reckon...

I like the frame/tank protectors that look exactly like turn signals.

The bike on the left in the background, I see an actual crash bar...Arrow exahust, bash plate and aux lights on that one too.

But, yeah. That tank kinda sticks out there a ways.

I think those are plastic covers which if they are made of a decent plastic should work well to protect the tank, just like the new Tenere uses, or like Buell did with their "frame slider pucks".

Fixenated in a lame attempt to remove gayness...not that there's anything wrong with that.
