Makes it cheaper more like.

I doubt the bike will be any less robust than the F800GS and I'm gonna get one as soon as they're released. This bike is the only reason why I haven't ordered the 1200 Tenere right now.

Ahem, my bike has Metzler Karoo MCE,s, nice, but it looks like it will take the Mefo Explorer and the Mitas e-09. A Tiger with real tire choices, GIGGIDI!

It does look like the F800GS but....

Looks are only skin deep. Right? So far, I like what I see

Two main likes: 1) Thinner than the F800GS. 2) It will probably be less expensive.

I demo'd the F800GS and thought it was pretty good. Someone on here said it was soul'ess. I would have to agree with that. It didn't feel fun. Seeing the Tiger on a dirt track, it looked like the guys were having fun with it

If it comes with a 6-gallon tank (we can wish can't we?), that would be pretty fantastic in my book...

Can't wait to see it in person...

Hmmm 7300 for the stock bimmer...695 for the trippy puter and ABS package...1000 for panniers.... Triumph have a nasty habit of giving the panniers away with Tigers....Here's hoping

I ride an 1150GS Adventure at home...just spent 11 days touring Britain on an 800GS and LOVED it. It was like riding a scooter!

I find it a bit odd that people want such a light-weight bike with such a huge tank. According to my Googling, a gallon of gasoline can weigh up to 6lbs, so you'd be adding in the range of 36lbs in fuel to the bike. I guess no point fretting over the weight of a few nuts and bolts here and there.

1. You don't have to fill the tank.

2. It's only a 4.7G tank.

3. That means it's only going to add about 12 lbs over a 2.7gallon tank.

4. Most riders would lose more weight than that if they rode to the gym every other day.

5. The tank has an anti-gravity plate underneath it, so it doesn't matter.

My point was in related to comments wishing the bike to be 350lbs with a 6 gallon tank. If you want a 350lbs bike, it doesn't make much sense to add 35lbs of fuel to it. Personally, I would like it to have a 6 gallon tank so it has good range, but if the bike was 450lbs, I'd be fine with that as well.
