I'll post some pics with the Pelican cases from the rear tomorrow, pics are at the office. You can find out more on the Caribou Cases website. I have the 36 Liter cases with the Hepco and Becker racks. They are 39" across at the widest point. I had them before on my Varadero and really liked them. When you're motel/hotelling you just pop them off the racks and carry them inside. They do lock to the racks of course and the cases have locks on them as well. If I did not have a passenger for weekend trips I would have gone with a giant loop bag, but that doesn't work well two-up. I may still eventually buy a giant loop bag for solo trips.

I also have the case liners in them, so you can open them up while on the bike w/o everything falling out. Which is nice.

I didn't see this stand propping up an Adventure bike, just the SE. Maybe I am not looking in the right place either.........

Orange seems to have been popular. Maybe they ran out of paint.

Did you change your order and pick another colour?

OK, it wasn't a V-Strom, but a Cagiva Gran Canyon 900

Is it me or is the stand bending here ?

Still not sure I'd trust that stand to hold the bike while you work on it.

The bike looks like its barely off the ground. Don't be cheap and just buy a center stand. It's not even worth the chance of the bike falling on you and causing even more problems.

I think that is just perspective.

You don't have to hold the whole bike with this, it's only used to push the bike in a position where one or the other wheel is off the ground. I have used that stand without issues on my (much lighter) WR250X, but I don't think there is a problem using it (properly) on the Tiger.

The thing is, it may hold the bike up but we all know when we're removing wheels etc, we really have to crank down on the wrenches sometimes and getting a wheel back on involves much cursing and toing and froing. I wouldn't trust that stand for that kind of stuff - static holding ? Maybe, working on the bike ? Nope. YMMV.

I'm sorry but I don't get why? You spend 12 grand on a bike. Just buy a center stand. Maybe it's just me but this thing looks dangerous for big bikes.
