Umm unless two of them have been found the correct one was inside the container from a box truck and not on the beach on it's own like that one is. That picture looks suspiciously like the bit of stock photography that the BBC used as a link to the news report for the Japanese Harley.

right...i already read some different versions of the story....and the version from the bike "inside the box" makes more sense...!!

The fellow who found it in the box van couldn't bring it with him at the time because of the remote location so came back a few days later with a pickup truck. A few more days of tidal action on the container left the bike on the beach partially buried. Harley Davidson is rebuilding the bike and giving it back to its owner.

There is more to this story. The owner of the bike has been located in Japan. He lost three family members that horrible day. He is living in a temporary shelter. Last I read the bike is to be shipped back to Japan and restored by Harley Davidson. Be interesting to see how this story evolves.
