Winter upgrades. We just got the header back from NitroPlate. Installing the shorter oil pan from Willis Racing. One of our riders wheelie'd it an cracked the factory pan. My brother painted the pan to match the bike. He's going to polish the bottom. He's using ARP polished stainless steel header bolts and a MPS Racing Cometic oil pan gasket.

I don't own a Busa, but I am taking a new interest in them. I'd like to see more pictures of the "Limited Edition" models with the different paint schemes. So far, I like the 2006 white and silver variation. What do you have??

Welcome to the site. Their is lots of unrelated stuff to read on this site, that is what makes it so great. Nice bike, how does that one wheel trailer feel at speed?

Straight up and running fast it's hard to know it's there. It slows down roll in. At a normal sporty sport touring pace it turns in normally, but up the pace and try to snap the bike over you can feel the trailer behind you resisting the bike.

Used at it's maximum weight capacity of 100 lbs and load the trailer with a forward weight bias and heeled over at 60 to 70 MPH it tends to introduce a weave to the bike. I believe this is because the weight is attached to the axle and not the frame.

Loaded with a lighter weight and a rearward weight bias and the rear rebound damping increased it doesn't weave.

It's a trailer, so just like any vehicle with a trailer you take extra care, slow down, leave three seconds, etc, etc.

It's super handy. On a two day super slap run to visit friends, these no soft luggage to strap off and on, it's water proof, has a 155 liter capacity and when detached from the bike leaves no unwieldy "superstructure" attached to the rear like other trailers or hard bags, and it comes off and goes on in about a minute.

Ride up to the motel, detached the trailer, roll it inside like a wheelbarrow, your stuff is all in side your room, dry, and in 5 minutes you are good to go on a back road run.

If you got the stones, ( I don't ) you can do wheelies with it attached.

Ran across an 06 Busa today at what seems to be a sharp price.

Any advice on what to look for?
