Had a nice informal - (small) get together at the PE bistro last Thursday eve.
Smithe, RJMorel, greatnortoni's better half and a work colleague (he rides a wing?) met for some quality conversation and some decent food.
The only strange thing was, sitting in the lounge like we were, the waitress brought out the food from behind the door marked "restrooms"

First day of deer season today and I almost got mine - a 5 point buck. Only problem was he and his 4 point buddy and 3 gals decided to saunter across SR 125 about the time I was headed north on the BMW on my way to lunch at the Tux. Luckily, I saw them well in advance and was jamming the shifter and braking and managed to get slowed down well before I reached them.

Be careful out there folks, the deer are thicker than flies on 3-day roadkill this year.

Oh, and did I mention, it was colder than all get out this morning?
