I saw this one on a recent trip:

First time I've seen one like mine with the tailgate wood strip kit:

Here's something interesting. Close enough to you too.

Seattle....that ain't close, unless I am at work. Always seem to hit Boeing's shift change when I go that way.

Found mine somewhere in my pics, not too bad for a 15 years old back then. Sorry bad pics, they stayed undevelopped in a camera for years until I found them again.

49 CJ2A, later traded with my RD200 for a brand new 74 RD350.

I think I'd still need chains.....! Some on that one.Up the hill we go and that's only a cedar, very light compared to the Douglas firs.

Started installing seat belts today.

Upper bracket..

Lower bracket..

Fishing the reinforcement brackets up the pillar. There is only one access point to the pillar and it's way at the bottom. I used a spare cable to fish it into place.

And the driver's side is in. I like the adjustable shoulder harness too.

Scrap Metal Design was there displaying his new stuff.

Hope I don't get the ban hammer for this one.

Need to put those things into some cylinders!

Pretty much the same vehicles in the yard although Paul has been busy collecting a few extras.

Open back ambulance?

Interesting Mitsubishi licensed Willys.

Nice pics. The pick up interior has pretty much the "3 gauges in front of the driver" that I've done...

In addition to the 3 Willys 4x4 Wagons out back, I just hauled this home:

1948. And it came with it's 1950 Fargo Power Wagon brother, which I haven't picked up yet.

Does that make me a traitor? Does it join the FJ45 Toyota pick up, carefully out of sight of the Willys? Can I be cured? Should I buy a Prius?

I really like that yellow pickup. Sad thing, though. I finally got to sit inside a Willys Pickup. It's just. not. big. enough. I'm over 6'2" and a bit tubby in the middle. I just plain don't fit.
