Most interesting! Maybe this is a solution when the pressure of population has resulted in *World government, mandatory veganism for all and maybe free broadband?! Bring it on baby!

PS 'mercans will be excluded and banished to a little 'island' somewhere as part of their re-education program to finally learn to become global citizens again! lol

Don't worry we'll have room for the Aussies in the re-education classes

Drove by Tiny Texas Houses while on the way to San Antonio for Christmas, but they were closed and all the models they had were locked up so couldn't see the interior configuration.

But they did look pretty neat from the outside.

That must be a gag. Those are texas Doll-houses!

Honestly, my sister had a 4,000 square foot house for herself -with a pool and 3/4 acre.

GF and I share an about 1550 SF 3BR 1.75BA house. It's crowded and tiny. Narrow doorways and not enough closet space. Great floorplan, though, if it were only twice as big! I'm damn glad it's just the two of us trying to live in this little thing!

Moving in April into an 1800SF 3BR 1.75BA that we're remodelling. It'll be OK , but space will still be at a premium.

Any images or links to potential tiny house contenders that would pass all south Florida building codes (that account, for example, hurricanes)?

I can only imagine a tiny house made of concrete blocks.

Neither of you "get" tiny houses and have no business posting in this thread.

Damn. Mrs. Dave and I live in a 1600 s.f. house, and we don't really use 1/3 to 1/2 of it.

The Mrs. and I live in a 1330 sq. ft house. Two of the bedrooms are closed and the heat shut off to them to save money in the winter.
