Beat the Heat
Feeling like I was coming down with the bride’s summer cold, I said f*** it, “I’m not going to sit around the house this weekend in the heat”. So I threw a few things together and stuck out Saturday morning for some cooler elevation. Don’t have many photos but the ride was rich with wildlife, folks and sights.

Original Route 2x’s with Fatdog, Kian, Super Squirrel and New Diversions with ![]() Old Inn overlooking the Hiawassee Turn off to Corpsewood…still waiting for GaM to give the full tour. ![]() 795 miles later back home and whipped, cold's definitely settled in, at least I beat the devil for a couple days. |

Nice pics Bart. I bet it was 10 degrees cooler up in Cashiers while you were there. I camped at Mt. Pisgah on the BRP two weeks ago and it was very nice to get away from the heat.
