My wife and I are in full agreement with SR - it was truly a thrill and an honor to hear you sing!

Damn, I missed all the coolness, but at least they got to hear a horrible voice Thursday night.

I have only 2 pics from Westfest, and I have no excuses.

Well, the hotel.

and the Marshall's Office.

Thank you for the compliments everyone! It truly is a joy for me to sing!

On with the RR...

The next morning we got up and had the nicest guy named JJ fix us some breakfast. We told him we'd just like some eggs and bacon. Well, HOLY COW! That sweet man made us EACH 3 fried eggs, at least 2 full potatos of hash browns, 4 ginormous pieces of bacon and 2 huge slices of toast. The pile of food was larger than my torso! We neither one could finish it all, but we gave it a good go!! I wish I had a picture, you just wouldn't have believed it!

After we stuffed ourselves to the gills, we waddled off and got the bikes packed up and headed out to the Selway Falls. The road leading down to the falls was magnificent! It was just the perfect twisty, hilly, narrow, sticky dirt track! I couldn't stop grinning the whole way!

It was so lush!!

Duke even found a bunch of raspberries!

We dropped down to the Selway, crossed a bridge and found the falls.

After a snack and some bald eagle watching we headed up Hwy 12 to find a track Duke had that would take us over the route that Lewis and Clark took from Lolo Pass to the west. We found the track, but unfortunately it has been closed off.

We shed a few tears, then decided to head on up to Powell and see what we could find from there. We enjoyed the ride on Hwy 12, it's quite beautiful, but we really wanted to ride more dirt. It was starting to get late though, so we found a nice camp site between the Highway and the Lochsa River.

We cooked our dinner...

On this great little fire, after we realised our camping stove was broken.

After that we sat and watched the river go by until dark finally set in. Then we went to sleep and were amazed that there wasn't a bit of traffic all night long!

When you started to sing I immediately thought of Paul Potts and the totally unexpected voice that he posessed. I will confess I'm not a fan of that type of music But having the chance to hear people such as yourself truly blows my mind

Dave put on a steering head bearing and tire changing clinic.

Sadie seemed happy with her chauffeur.

Paul's Ural.

Hey! There was plenty of firewood--that wasn't necessary!

Hayduke's rim.

This was really meant to be only a teaser, but Putts somehow felt compelled to squeeze into it later.

Tire bowling. (And somehow, Tami ended up in a noob's dress)
