some shots I took. I took like 7 is all.

Copper Cliff......off of the alternate on the first alternate. You can see the oxidized copper in it, the teal rock.

The bike clean and ready to go. Before the broken kickstand bracket, blown fork seal and broken clutch cable

This is after 1117 miles of MT. I would hate to see it if I did not lead for a day or two.

here are the other shots I took.

Can't remember the riders name......met so many people that week. Mud hole on S. Fork Poorman Cr. alternate for day 2.

Shot from the Gravs....near where we set up camp.

That is all I have for photos. Pretty sad, 1117 miles of fun and no photos of it. well I would rather ride than pretend I am a photographer. Besides I would rather share my ride with good fun people, as aposed to sharing photos of rides.

I'm running these parallel with the "Montana or Bust" thread (so I don't have to type it all twice! ).

Our guide for the alternates.

There was this crazy nut with a beanie helmet and Triumph Scrambler:

And the might violated KTM! Hell yeah...

Name this bike:

Thanks for the heads-up on the moth, Jonz. My pic looks like a Mac desktop photo!

Jonz, your bike sounds AMAZING in the vid! I also like hearing you laugh when you come upon the surprises in the trail, cool!

Do you remember if you were using the waterproof door or the open one on the GoPro? The sound on mine is not that good, but maybe it has to do with the speed. Not much wind noise at the alternate-trail rate of travel, eh?

I wish my helmet cam mount would've survived, I didn't get any vid of the alternates, and I wish I did.

I picked up one of those quick-strap goggle things that lets you keep the goggles ON the helmet at a Montana motorcycle shop. I love it!

Earthlings! Take me to your leader!

Log hopping time! It wasn't TOO big, but still big enough to pay attention!

Damn, what a sky! It was fun chasing Jonz through little canyon set of twisties. I respect a rider who can blast through the turns on knobbies, and the big KTMs just eat that up!

So imagine after being in the back-country for days climbing a hill and coming across an oasis, food and cold drinks, snacks and cookies displayed along the side of the trail all for your own enjoyment. RudyS2MT drove up his SUV and did exactly that for ALL the ADVriders that made it this far. That's one of the most generous things I've seen. You rule RudyS2MT!

The man. The myth. RudyS2MT.

Mommer was pretty excited.

Dave takes nice pictures.
