These trails look fantastic for a easy ride. SabaRocket is coming back from a hard crash and needs some encouragement. She has a 200 exc and a TTR 125. The 125 is not plated and I like the looks of the ride out of Sargents. Where exactly is the loop because it has been ages since I have ridden that area. Thanks ktmdoc

We started at the east side of Black Sage Pass, and rode some roads first, then we went over to the Waunita Creek trailhead. That links up to Canyon Creek Trail. Rode that for awhile, but bailed out at the "Horse Camp", then road 769 (?) back to near the hot springs, and back over Black Sage.

Flyfishing rocks, too.

Great report Duke/Bonnie.

I am going to try to make a riding trip up to Salida one day this fall. Maybe I will have to look you guys up and get some tips on new stuff to ride.

Aw, man - you started this thread the day after we left Salida (for the 2nd time)!

Thanks for the pass recommendations - we had a great time on Tin Cup/Cumberland/Tomichi and found some fun connecting trails, too.
Colorado is so awesome, I mean, sucky
Bonnie inspires me to get back on my TTR125 - she sure makes it look fun...

Anyway, nice to meet you and glad we caught you on a non-riding, non-fishing day! Don't forget to make that bacon shirt in women's sizes (my sister wants one).

You take some of the cooles riding pics.
I think it's awesome that you guys(you and BA) get to ride together so much.

Always nice to see.

Bonnie's been riding her little TTR125 alot lately, and challenging herself with more technical trails and roads. I thought I'd take her on some stuff that would have made her cry a year ago.

Starts out mellow; this stuff is fun when you wick it up to "dakar" pace.

up up into some wonderful aspen groves...

this road doesn't see alot of traffic...

As we climb, the route gets tougher... Tami's little 125 doesn't have much oomph up here at 11,500' Steeper than it looks, and looser, too...
