Heh, I figured with the cops being tied up with that wreck it left that awesome set of curves south of Sassy's pretty much cop free. It was. Man, I'm either gonna have to avoid that part of 71 when I move there, or I'm gonna get a lot of tickets.

I've always enjoyed those curves! We've hit those for years on sportbikes. I've been pulled over on them before and scolded by the PoPo a couple times, had a buddy that got written up on them, and had a buddy go in too hot going up them, he panicked and stood the bike up and went right into the curb! It launched him in the air and he ended up in the back yard of those little duplexes. He was ok, the bike wasnt.

Well I was contemplating joining ya'll but earlier today when I walked out into the garage there was a big puddle of fork oil next to the 690. So I been working on that all afternoon. Oh well, it ought to be good for 5K miles or so.

Ive had a hell of a day.

went to work, planned to get compost during the lunch break.

took pickup truck, pulling my small trailer, split the load evenly, so its not hard on vehicle or trailer ( compost is heavy..)

I pull the truck under the bucket, the guy on teh front end loaded backs up, swings towards the trailer, and dumps every damn bit of compost into my little trailer before I can even get out of the truck.

damn.

I pull 10 feet off and blow a tire.

so I left trailer there, came home, got shovel, spare tire, jack..

go back, change a tire, and offload about 60% of the compost from the trailer into the truck.. as I had initially intended.

got home without further incident.

just got out of the second shower of the day, got all sweaty, now I have teacher parent conferences.. 2 in a row.

I thnk Ill call it a day after that... sheesh

I'm with Matt, this day has sucked balls. We also just had the parent teacher conferences. Work has been crappy all day. I'm going home and hopefully get the yard mowed.
