Would not worry about looks
I own bright orange restored k5 ct 90 I wear dayglo full face orange helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, chest protector, kelvar chaps over jeans, leather gloves, high steel toed boots and dayglo orange hunting vest. So I gues I look like an orange dork. Soft pack on the back is what I carry things in. Of course I dont look as cool as the shirt less helmetless dude in their shorts and deck shoes riding their crochet rockets but I probabily have a better chance of avoiding the obit page because some guy talking on a cell phone turns left in front of me.
The cts are a blast especially off road if you havent taken yours to the trails your missing 1/2 the fun of owning one. Dont worry about others opinion and have fun. The only draw back to the milk crate carrier is in an accident its only a couple of inches away from your spine and I dont like the hard edges and what it could do to your spine. Off road for sure I would not want that behind me but that just me the orange dork. Enjoy your bike ATGATT |

Just keep in mind that the australian postal service have CT110's in their stable, and have done so for 30+ years. And the only way to get a CT110 around here is either off the auctions after aus-post are done with them, or second hand off someone else who had bought it that way!
pic 1, pic 2, so no, i wouldn't classify you as a dork.

Someone said crates?
Hiya, 'been lurking for some time, and just had to join and up a pict of my VFR+Crate.
![]() Coco Cargo by VFR-HB, on Flickr I'm in Mexico, long term ride scouting out cool places along the Pacific. Yes I had scooters before (Yam Riva 200, Vespa 50). Will do a proper intro later with maps and such in case others are planning a ride in SW Mexico. Cheers! HB |

Heck, I always thought having a plastic crate to carry more stuff was cool to begin with...
![]() I live only a half mile from my post office and the crate, uh, increases my carrying capacity quite a bit. (The blue tarp stays with the Ruck 90% of the time as I commute/park in the rain---and it rains a lot where I am)

At least no one here rides like this:
![]() Yes, he is riding with a BBQ. He found it the side of the road. It was published in the paper and the rider was later fined. The rider said the BBQ never did work, the Judge said "Maybe that's whey it was on the side of the road?" |

Judges are so picky these days.
![]() I rode to have my SV1000's tires changed with 2 new tires around my waist. Yes, I looked like the Michelin man, but it was too nice a day to trailer.

I've now attached the milk crate removed from the sold CT90 to my new to me '05 Yamaha XT225. So now I can run almost 80 and still look like a dork.
"Luke, come over to the dork side." I think that was what Darth Vader said.
